Role Purpose

As a Key Account Manager at our client, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of medium and large direct clients, as well as smaller media agencies, throughout the entire sales lifecycle. Your role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and helping them achieve their goals through innovative media advertising solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media sales and be skilled in both traditional and digital media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management:

  • Manage an existing portfolio of medium and large direct advertisers and smaller media agencies.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to ensure that our client remains a top-choice partner.
  • Conduct client needs assessments to align services with their business objectives.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new advertising opportunities and partnerships with large advertisers and agencies.
  • Expand the client base by proactively sourcing leads and presenting relevant advertising solutions.

Sales Lifecycle:

  • Drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact and presentation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Create tailored proposals and negotiate contracts, including annual agreements.
  • Ensure monthly and annual sales targets are consistently achieved.

Campaign Execution and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Content, Creative, and Analytics, to execute client campaigns.
  • Provide post-campaign analysis and performance reports to highlight impact and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to align with evolving client needs.

Event Participation:

  • Represent our client at industry events, client gatherings, and festivals to strengthen partnerships.
  • Attend approximately 10-12 events annually, with occasional evening or weekend commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

Education or equivalent:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management or media sales, preferably within digital advertising space.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to build and manage client relationships with advertisers and media agencies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation skills and data-driven approach.

Languages:

  • Fluency in Danish and English.
